Burford School

It is my birthday today and to celebrate I decided to arrange a surprise for Bill. Bill attended Burford Grammar School as a boarder when he was 13 - 17 years old. He formed a strong bond with a group of boys who he shared with in the dorm at Lenthall House. Over the years, he had lost touch with them but always knew that should they meet up they would enjoy the reminiscing and would have lots of memories to share.

Hence our trip to Burford although Bill thought we were going to Bath instead. He was so surprised as various old school friends arrived as we were finishing our meal. They managed to talk non stop between until midnight. There were lots of photos to look at and it was a really super evening and they are now planning to have another get together in the not too distant future. Tomorrow we have been invited to look around the school, another treat.
