Crested Lark

Everywhere still frozen here in Hungary with temperatures set to dip to minus 6 tonight. We still found plenty of birds but the big lakes are still frozen hard with the tracks round them closed.
This Crested Lark was near some very scruffy farm buildings on a hay bale.
The extra is another White Stork, but this one was wandering around a small frozen lake.
The weather forecast says the temperature will rise to a dizzy 2 degrees tomorrow so fingers crossed.
