Newroz Eve

The night before Newroz (Spring new year) never fails to be noisy and it's living up to expectations tonight. There are fires everywhere, including on roofs and the mountains, everyone is letting off fireworks and crackers (which is actually quite dangerous), there's singing and dancing. Picnics start in full force tomorrow for the next three days at least! I feel that I'm slightly bracing myself for it this year and hoping to have oodles of supernatural energy for the days ahead!
