Saint Laurence Church, Reading.

I walked into town this afternoon (six and a half miles all together!) and whilst there found that a church in the town centre that I had long wanted to see was open. Saint Laurence's church in the town has a long and fascinating history and in more recent years has been a church particularly appealing to young people. I knew that the inside had been transformed and had been curious to see what had been done. They have done an incredible job and it looks splendid. Although I love looking in ancient church buildings, I think it is so important that they are actually used and clearly this one is now well used and looks stunning.
