Extra day 2 - Lake Bled

Took the bus to lake Bled this afternoon. Bus took an hour and quarter and was nice opportunity to look at the towns and country we passed through.
Lake Bled is a very picturesque lake with a castle on one side and a small island with a church on it. I took a Pletna boat over to the island, which is a gondola style wooden boat. Then climbed the 99 steps up to the buildings. This is a famous wedding location and tradition dictates that the groom should carry his bride up the stairs without stopping for good luck. An Asian couple thought to try this, whilst I was there, and he made it, bless him,much to his tourgroup's amusement!
Then hot chocolate and Bled cream cake to warm up before the bus back.
