Siesta

This squirrel was fairly high up on a limb, enjoying the sun while it lasted.  Tomorrow we're back to wintry weather.  He seemed to be taking a nap, as his eyes grew heavy, until he saw me approaching.

Thank you so much for the warm response to my sunrise photo yesterday. It makes me realize how beautiful DC is, politics aside.  It is only a 30 minute drive to get to the heart of the city (non-rush hour), so I have no excuse.  If I can pull myself away from wildlife photography, I will have another whole world of architecture and street photography to explore.
