Maid Of The Loch

Good news last week that the Maid of the Loch [the last paddle steamer built in Britain, currently undergoing restoration at Balloch Pier] has been awarded £950,000 from the Scottish Government's £26M Regeneration Capital Grant Fund.
The Maid last sailed in 1981, and this will hopefully bring her much closer to sailing once again.
