Mini beast from the east

Although there was no more than 1/4 inch of snow in the Lakes, apparently, Crosby (where Mike lives with his mum) was almost cut-off this morning. So in order for Mike not to be trapped in the Lakes, I drove him home in the Defender. After dropping him off I had a little explore out to Orton Scar, where the road was 3 feet deep in snow in some points. It was an exciting drive, but gave me lots of opportunity to shoot drifting snow in really high winds. There's an extra too, both look better large on black.

Due to a few comments, I've swapped the pics over, so the trees are my main pic, the drifts are now the extra.
