Every once in a while you get lucky. Normally my two year old granddaughter is in constant motion and when I try and get a picture of her it's a blur of her leaving. I get the best pictures when she isn't looking or is distracted by something. Today she decided to perform for the camera.
I think it had a lot to do with her new Elmo clothes. At two she is already a little fashion diva. It's so great photographing children because they are so flawless no matter how close you get with the lens. My biggest challenge is to get both my four year old grandson and my granddaughter in a picture together where neither child is in motion and they are both smiling. I am confident it will happen sooner or later!
