Hughes H-4 Hercules "Spruce Goose"

A visit to the Evergreen Air and Space Museum in McMinnville, Oregon today did not disappoint.
It is the home of a unique and endlessly fascinating amphibious airplane nicknamed the "Spruce Goose".
It is a marvel from the aeronautical engineers of the 1940's.
