Women's Day Off

In 1975 nearly all women gathered downtown to protest (even though it was not called protesting but "calling attention to") against the inequality between men and women. It was a huge success and has been repeated a few times since. I participated twice I think. This year there was no gathering, just a conference and stuff.

I decided to honor my mother on this day and take a photo of my favorite piece of hers, which is a stone print in blue. One of her big passions were mushrooms and lots of her art shows them.
