Another party

As per usual, we took my mother out for her Mother’s Day meal the week after the actual date. This year we went to the Ferryhill House Hotel.
On arrival they couldn’t find my booking.
They got the name wrong, but it was there.
We noticed this table next to us booked for a birthday party; thankfully it was not a rowdy one.
After an hour we finally got our meals, which were very unremarkable, not tasty and not worth the money.
