Peace and quiet

This morning I was up at 5.30 due to kiedis hogging most of the bed, he had snuck in because of the strong winds blowing in the middle of the night.

I use the word bed loosely because my bed for the past three weeks has been the sofa bed mattress on Devon's bedroom floor.

Vicki is still struggling to find a comfortable position in which to sleep, so she's got our bed to herself.

I used the early morning me time to paint the sketch I did the night before. The female Bullfinch was sketched from a reference photo I had shot through the our kitchen window.

The snow has returned yet again and with the strong winds is going to make the weekend a difficult one.
