Mixed media?

This is how today went: sore knee so decided not to walk, went to Hexham to do necessary shopping for most of the morning.

Finally had the chance to look at the Chinese paintings Mum did on her course last weekend. There were the usual pages of practice strokes and then the paintings. She had decided they were not worth keeping and they were already crumpled.

I scanned the best one, removed the creases in Photoshop, added a bit of contrast to bring out detail in the petals, printed the result onto cards and hey presto, a image heading for the bin now has a new life as a greeting card. Here you see 4 such for my Blip. How about that for a bit of crossover with art?! (They look much better in reality - photographing under the ordinary light was not ideal.)
