Another mini beast
We woke to yet more snow and a bitter wind.
I've never had to walk on a bearing from the house before, but heading out from our hole in the wall the snow flurries limited visibility to zero at times. Exhilarating.
Sat in the man cave later in the day I spent a while watching the birds who are very grateful for the seed we've put out. Amongst them was a beautiful browns and cream streaked little bird I couldn't identify at first, then I realised with a start it was a house sparrow. So rare to see them nowadays, incredible to think they are now on the Red list.
Later I went looking for a snowy blip, but this fellow, who's supposed to be keeping guard, caught my eye.
