The Beast Continues to Howl

SUNDAY

I wasn't expecting to see six inches of snow covering the lane or two feet deep drifts up against the kitchen door this morning. Nothing was moving on the roads.

After feeding the birds and doing a 10 km warm-up on the treadmill out in the garage I then cleared the snow in my running shorts and vest.

A bit of a melt this afternoon but now it's starting to freeze again as temperatures plummet.

This is the driveway which had been kept substantially clear of snow by the strong easterly winds.
