Walk in the sun

Another sunny, but very icy windy, day. We took a walk along the river. The pathway along the river has still ice and snow left, but the south facing slope was free from snow and there we spotted  the first spring flowers, snowdrops and a tiny daffodil!  The  mallards were sunbathing in the bright sun. A lovely day which gave a hint of the coming spring!
