Pavement patterns

I went to get a paper for my neighbour (don't have one myself on a Sunday) and took my camera with me, but met with little inspiration.
Went out last night and had a very icy drive home late at night.  Fortunately all the traffic was crawling round the numerous roundabouts in blizzard conditions.

My faithful sewing machine seems to have given up the ghost half way through a sewing job.  It is gradually falling apart so I may have to go on a shopping trip tomorrow.  It is nearly 30 years old and has been in use almost daily
