Snow Again

There was snow forecast this weekend; an amber weather warning for hazardous driving conditions when it fell, due to high winds with the snow. But in terms of lying on the ground, we were assured it would be a dusting. There would not be enough snow around to really lie. 

This morning I woke to a good 20cm of snow, with deeper drifts and areas where wind sheer had removed all but a cm from the ground. There is impacted ice under the snow on all the roads, including main roads. None are clear in my area. And its still snowing at the moment, albeit much lighter. 

This house is not far from where I live; I didn't venture far this morning, just a short walk. It was the most picturesque of those I took.
