Mystery dirty car roof

This is all I can come up with today. Please do not comment on it.

A couple of days ago I noticed that a neaby car had a strangely patterned dirty roof. I could not imagine what had caused it. One thing I thought of was a cat's dirty paw marks blurred by the rain. Now another other car had the same pattern on it! Why I do not know.

Such a busy day. Six people called to collect Freecycle stuff. Had a hospital appointment which happened 1 hour and 45 minutes late. That was quite stressful and made the parking bill quite dear. Also meant driving back in the dark.

Still the day was brightened by Skyping my youngest brother. Otherwise the weather was dark and dysmal.

PS Sadly the photograph didn't even capture the odd splashing sort of pattern.
