Meet Darwin

When we were threatened with the Beast from the East recently D2 decided that Darwin's accommodation would not be good in the expected low temperatures. She therefore moved him into the house and encouraged him out of hibernation. He is now housed in a very nice vivarium with picture windows overlooking the garden. He is being fed on the very best little gen lettuce and has the best available water. Is he happy? NO. He is the most bad tempered tortoise I have ever met. He bangs and crashes around filling up his water bowl with mud before tipping it over, mixing the two types of floor covering, wood chip with the dirt and being generally unpleasant. Role on next November when he will hibernate again.
