Quiz Night

Thanks to the girls and the need for Dad's taxi service to Guides and back, I'd missed the quiz night at work, earlier in the week.Tonight, the guides laid on their own at the Red Lion in Manningtree. A good start! 

Our team 'Misguided' enjoyed it's inaugural outing, putting in an admirable performance against seasoned regulars. I enjoyed the Adnams and did my best to contribute, as time allowed around the other priority tasks of having a few laughs and eating.

Our late played joker, brought us from the middle of the pack of 11 teams, to second place with the final round to go...

Two points. That's all it was. Just two. We was robbed, but no matter. Hundreds of pounds was raised for the Guides. A fab night!
