The East Wind Doth Blow but we shall have fun

Today we woke to small flurries of snow but we were determined to enjoy ourselves at Twycross Zoo so after a Full English to set us up for the day we wrapped up against the elements and set off for the zoo. The wind was freezing and it didn't bother to go round us it just went through us. Twycross Zoo is home to lots of different species of monkeys and apes aswell as lots of other animals. We made our round the zoo nipping into the different houses as many of the animals had chosen to stay indoors we saw gibbons, gorillas, chimps, bonobos, orangutans, elephants, giraffes, amur leopards and snow leopards. Some of the animals had babies which we were able to watch they were just to cute. After a lovely but cold day we headed back home.
