Cremeschnittel calling
Race to the hut.
At the alpine hut Chamanna d'Es-cha, they make their own cakes. The reputation of the home-made cremeschnittel (similar to a vanilla slice) is widely recognised in these parts. It certainly lived up to it's reputation and was well wirth the 900m ascent to get to the hut.
It was somewhat mixed conditions on the way down, but the recent snowfall this morning on the way up made it a good descent. Good company made it a really good day.
