Traditions?

I do not know about customs and traditions in your countries. In Spain, or at least in Andalusia, we used to have some customs concerning religious festivities in Semana Santa - Holy Week, such as processions, typical meals, and things like that.

But now it seems we have even more 'traditions' than in the past. We didn't use to have decorations in shop windows, in stalls at the market - as you can see in my photo - or even fake religious 'Semana Santa' processions carried out by children and teachers  in primary schools!!
I wonder if all this is for tourists or just because people like it!

I do not like what is happening in Andalusia, neither do I understand it.
