Conked out
The kids went mad for conkers this year - with boxes full gathered from the very fruitful trees in the park in front of our house. Here's a small portion of Conor's collection - filling his beyblades arena (if you know what it is, you'll have an idea of size, if not, it's lots of conkers). Plus he has a box full of them too. Anyway, moving some stuff around in the hall to paint today, I realised that his collection is rather on the turn - so they'll be turfed out tomorrow.
In other news, much taxi-ing the kids to various sports and activities today, and then some quiet ironing and a catch up with Strictly. Gorgeous day. Like summer. (I've snuck that in quietly at the end in the hope that those suffering bad weather will have got bored and stopped reading by now.)
I'm a bit inconsistent with blip at the moment, so there are lots of holes. They will be filled, but I'll just try and put one up on the day when I can.
