Crock 'o Gold

Driving home tonight the sky ahead had bright orange bands south of Arran and pale pink over Arran itself. My suroundings were a feast of golden hues from the leaves on the trees and the fallen ones.The colours are magnificent.
The traffic was slow and I was sure I would miss the fabulous horizon. However, I got down to the beach just in time to capture the sun sinking down into the sea. We are so used to the sun setting over Arran but tonight it was a bonus it was setting over N.I.
Agh sure, it's the golden place even without a sunset!
