The Fairy

The Fairy rose is still flowering beautifully in our garden. It has had a great season. The day has been very cloudy, threatening to rain and quite cold. I gave my usual early morning walk a miss today and slept in until nearly 8.am. Maisie was puzzled. She had to make do with a trip in the car in and around town later in the morning.
Our son Duncan is visiting from Nelson for the weekend. He hasn’t been here since Christmas. We had fish and chips for tea.....
