A very lucky shot

This afternoon I was taking some photos of Ladybirds at the park when this bee landed beside me. I still cannot believe how lucky I was to get this shot as I only had just enough time to point the lens in its direction and make a very quick focus adjustment before it flew off again. I took a few more other photos although I had already decided that this was going to be my blip when I looked at it on the camera. None of them lived up to this shot though, not even the one of a Heron at the small pond.

Today was lovely even though the weather was slightly less sunny and warm than yesterday. The temperature at 6 pm was still a very pleasant 18°C.
