Wonderful Day.

Hubby and I have travelled all of 20 mins by ferry to the beautiful paradise island of Herm. We are here for 2 nights. We had a long walk this morning and came back to have a packed lunch on our balcony. We are the only b&b guests this weekend in the Mermaid Cottage so got the lovely balcony room. We have beautiful views over the harbour and across the sea to Guernsey! It was so hot at lunchtime that we stayed on the balcony and read in the sunshine. We had a great meal in the pub next door with the locals and a few guests staying in the self catering cottages. More walking tomorrow if the weather allows. Precious times!
