Vegetable casserole

The cafe was quiet today, possibly because a lot of the eastern Europeans are out in the fields picking the daffodils. It will be baked vegetables with an oat and rye topping tonight.  I rather liked the texture and colour in the pan. I am still puzzled about the poisoning episode in Salisbury.  It has all the hallmarks of Putin but it seems crazy timing with the World Cup coming up.  The world seems to be moving in a direction of increasing instability.
