Backyard Visitor

We were rushing around this morning getting ready to depart on our road trip when I looked out the kitchen window and saw this hawk sitting in a tree.  It only remained long enough for me to fire off a couple of shots and then it flew off.  It's not the best shot, the sky is a bit blown out and it was taken through some fairly dirty windows, but it will have to do, because shortly afterward we left for our 8-hour drive to Charleston.
