Chocolate chops

Bit of baking today... little un has a cough like a seal at the mo, so an afternoon at home (well hanging out at my mum’s house, which we treat as an extension) seemed like a good idea. Little un got a great pirate cupcake set for Christmas, so this was the time to try it out... chocolate galore... the cupcakes taste lovely, but the best bit for little un was smearing the table in left over cake mix... she’s in the phase of calling everyone a poo and then cackling manically at the sheer joy of being rude... so covering a table in brown sticky stuff left her almost paralysed with hysteria... it was really funny and she did clean it up afterwards, but it’s certainly the type of thing that never appears on Pinterest posts, or in celebrity cookery books about baking with children...
