Sorolla......an exhibition

Today we enjoyed a visit to the exhibition ~
“Sorolla; A Garden Fit to Paint” in Valencia.........
it was well worth the 90 minute bus journey up the motorway!

Sorolla’s paintings were of his gardens in Madrid, Seville and Granada.....
......he painted flowers, shrubs, bushes, fruit trees, ornamental plants, columns, fountains, water features and tiles.......all displaying many shadows and light!
