A warm spot

This chaffinch was lucky to find a sheltered spot in the brief rays of sun this morning.If it moved it would have been blown away.
It was a windy night which continued through out the day with dark clouds threatening to bring rain or snow, neither of which happened.
We are off to Brora for a few days. Expect some windy, wild shots as the weather looks even worst for the weekend !
