MONSTER

This is a 1908 Gibson harp guitar. The back is carved American walnut - the table is carved epicea (spruce). She's a big beast - 19" across the beam & beautifully made.

Had to replace the dark part of the tail-piece which was made of cellulose which after a hundred years & had begun to degrade big time...

Despite being seriously overweight by today's standards, she's powerful & has a lovely warm tone
