Dear Teacher...

I thought I'd share one of the pieces of writing I marked after school today. My class were tasked to write a letter of excuses as to why they couldn't be at school all week. This was inspired by the book Dear Teacher which we have been reading this week. Some of the letters made me chuckle...much needed on a day when the weather is as grim as it is!! 

Torrential rain this morning leading to thick, thick fog! It was so dense on my evening stroll it was actually dripping off the trees...
