Abstract tulip (Day 1041)

It has been really windy all day, and cold, especially in the wind. I trundled off to work with a plan of attack for the day. Remove the old basin and worktop, cut the new worktop to fit, and install a new basin. Things went a bit awry when I decided to empty the bath which had been full of water since I fitted it. Water coming out of the basin waste pipe is never a good sign. Nor is water pouring out around the lid of the drain inspection hatch. Under the lid lurked a mass of wet wipes, blocking the drain and the septic tank. Clearing it took hours, and in the process I walked up and down the garden enough times to rack up a total of 7 miles. I have had better days. I cleared the drain, and headed for home. Everything I was wearing went in the washing machine and I stood in the shower long enough to go wrinkly.
The camera hadn't been out of the bag all day, so an emergency shot of a decrepit tulip will have to do.
Tomorrow I will fit a basin...

Wet wipes should be banned.
