Morning at Abbeymount

Early start for the second part of the Stage 2 on the Continuity Bill, but it did give me the chance to experience the wonderful light as the sun rose over Abbeymount in Edinburgh , which I walk past on my way to the Parliament.

We finally finished the third part of the Committee consideration just before 9.00 this evening after a total of 11 hours of debate and voting.

Tomorrow I have two committee appearances , so it will be another early start. Then I must see where the arrangements for discussion with members about amendments for Stage 3 which I agreed to on a number of occasions at Stage 2 have got to and how we are going to finish that task by Monday lunchtime, which is likely to be the lodging deadline.
