Going home

We stayed on Murano yesterday and had a lazy day pottering about in the sun. It was good to rediscover places we'd last seen three and a half years ago. We lunched happily in the cafe by the church ( which was very busy) and they were coping so well.

I'd wanted to go out late afternoon as the sun was lower in the sky, to take photos of the older buildings, and as people were going home I quite enjoyed capturing a few of these with people. It's not easy to take images along here because of the number of mooring posts. Finally I headed back to the NW end of the island to capture the sunset. Then I had to get back quickly as we were all supposed to meet at 6.45 to go and eat again! We did have salad this time :-)
