Tales of the River Bank VI
Today's escapade along the Thames Path was from Newbridge to the Ha'Penny Bridge at Lechlade-on-Thames. The route at the start of the day required quite a lot of diversion to avoid the worst of the excess water (all flowing, none falling). This was one of the early 'turn-back' points.
Later it was possible to stick much more closely to the river bank. However, I think I might hold off doing the final two up-stream sections of the Thames Path until the river calms down a bit.
