Alice’s story

I had my second WI meeting of the month tonight. We had a talk by Alice, who you see in my blip. She was born in 1912 (the year the Titanic sank) in Austria to Jewish parents. She gave us a fascinating talk about the events she lived through. I really don’t know how she survived...she managed to get her husband out of Dachau and then made it to England with her daughter. Very interesting evening.
