Portland Art Museum

nhc was in town for a few days; it was good to see her for a catch-up lunch and a visit to the Art Museum.
If you get a chance, in Portland or wherever else, go see Fazal Sheikh's photos of displaced people in refugee camps. So many people suffering from the results of war, religion, politics, pollution . . . things that cause so much harm and pain. I feel like I live in a bubble; I have only an inkling of the devastation of so many people's only life on this earth. Stomach turning, distressing.
This entry is late; I've been laying low trying to deal with the reality of the world's injustices and rotten luck both near and far. That and ongoing iCloud confusion. I took pictures, but they just sat there somewhere where I couldn't edit them or even find them half the time. waiting for me to get back on board. I think I'm there again.
