Carrock Beck

I though I might have been photographing pottery today but instead I was pottering about by Carrock Beck. The potter had to cancel the photoshoot which meant The Man and I could have a venture out to a place we haven't visited for a while.

Nice to have the tripod out with me. I always think it helps focus the mind on what the lens is focusing upon. When you've gone to the bother of lugging it about and setting it up, you stay until you've got a shot you like, in spite of the biting wind!
