Veronica persica

At last the sun shone today! But don’t get too excited! It is the cyclone’s eye. Starting from tomorrow we’re going to experience more rain, at least until the beginning of next week.
I had some free time today, though very little, and so I took advantage of the good weather to prune some more rose bushes and an acacia tree.

The lawn (lawn?) is dotted with the tiny flowers of veronica persica, known in Italy as Virgin Mary’s eyes. I love this small flower, so tiny, but so powerful!

I expect it will be more drops from tomorrow onwards! :-)
