PURELY PATTERN

The light reveals many things at this time of year . . .
Tomorrow should have been the 499th running of the Kiplingcotes Derby . . .  see Old Blip1and Old Blip2  . . but due to the really wet weather the event has been cancelled. However . . . one horse will walk the course with a rider, together with the Trustees . . . for if this was not done tradition dictates that the whole event will come to an end. Given it is race number 500 next year,that will be too grand to miss.
