Coffee Surprise

Very excited today, for 2 reasons:

1. Several weeks ago I planted 2 little coffee bushes. One is growing slowly but doing quite well, with lovely new leaf growth this season. The other one, inexplicably, died. Or did it? Today I was clearing up that bed and about to pull out the 'dead' coffee plant, when I spotted these tiny bits of new growth! Had to be quite inventive to get my point 'n' shoot to stay in macro mode and focus on the green bits, and here they are!

2. Tomorrow I go to pick up my new DSLR! Don't know how I'm going to sleep tonight...
