A Walk in the Park

Snow all day!  It was snowing when we woke up and due to continue until the early hours of tomorrow.  There is a lot of the white stuff but Boston is used to it and the snow ploughs and sweepers have been going all day. Once the precipitation ceases, the city will return to normal - roads will be cleared and the airport re-opened with the Bostonians back to their normal routines.  We hope so, as it is our last day (for this trip) and there are lots of things we want to see.

We have had a quiet day today but did venture out for a short time this afternoon. The icy snow, driven by the wind, was harsh on the face and fingers got absolutely frozen; after a few snaps we retreated to the warmth of the apartment where we could observe the weather from a comfortably heated and double-glazed position.
