Classic Swedish House Colours

The most common house colour is red, falu red to be exact, often combined with white corners and windows.  The next most popular is yellow, also with white trimmings. Both colours look good in the snow.
I was talking to our neighbour today and he's lived in Bötsle since 1971 and never seen so much snow. Since he's the one who clears the snow with his tractor he's probably in a position to know.
I spent 3 to 4 hours today clearing snow from the paths and roofs of our home.
