Arrival

So I missed yesterday’s blip. To be quite honest, it was rainy and miserable. I left the flat to go to the shops and then returned and stayed warm inside the rest of they day. It hadn’t even occurred to me to take a photo.

Last night Julia arrived. So today we grabbed a coffee in Kreuzberg and then walked north to the centre. We walked all the way to our uni, so we had a mooch about there. We then grabbed some food and met Claire, and later on Anna.

We sat in a coffee shop for an hour so before Claire headed back to the flat. Anna, Julia, and I headed back to Friedrichshain. On the way there, I took this photo of Julia and Anna ascending the escalator at Potsdamer Platz. I’ll definitely return to this spot with my bronica, tripod and a whole role of B&W film and just sit for an hour or so and see what comes my way.

We arrived back at the flat, Anna and I gave Julia a brief tour before we met Lara for a few drinks. Lara suggested this great wee bar on the main road beside our flat. I loved the vibes and atmosphere, but not too keen on the indoor smoking. I had to chuck my clothes in the wash when I got back in.
